Richard is an amazingly intelligent teacher. I had to score individually high band scores in Academic IELTS. I worked with him for about 3 months and achieved my desired score. Richard is excellent at both identifying his students' learning needs and sharing resources to enhance their learnings. Right before my exam, when I had a nervous breakdown, he was able to share strategies to calm my nerves down and get me prepared for the exam. I think this is equally important besides excellent study materials: advise a student to perform well even when under stress, and excel at it.
